Many of the concepts relating to cognitive development are similar to those in attachment theory or emotional development. Point out similarities in concepts, then tell us how these cognitive development concepts are different
Discuss some practical implications of object permanence. How does object permanence relate to emotional development? Attachment theory?
Tell us about the importance of sociodramatic, or “make believe” play?
Vygotsky’s theory of “scaffolding” to a “zone of proximal” development applies to more than just child development. How might this theory relate to adolescent or adult life?
